Be a part of Northern California’s largest annual lupus awareness event and help spread awareness for the lupus community at Drumbeat to a Lupus Cure – The 21st Annual 5K Run and Walk for Lupus. Like the beat of the drum that serves as a call to action and a united march towards a mission and destination, families, patients, health providers, advocates, philanthropists and policy makers are all encouraged to join the fight against lupus.
NBC Bay Area's own meteorologist, Rob Mayeda, will be emceeing this charitable event. The 21st Annual 5K Run and Walk will benefit the Lupus Foundation of Northern California. Proceeds will help create greater lupus awareness, provide support services for lupus patients and their families, and encourage external lupus research efforts.
