The Setup, one of San Francisco's premiere underground comedy showcasings, will be featuring Desi Comedy co-creators Abhay Nadkarni and Samson Koletkar on November 2!
Nadkarni grew up in southern India and moved to South Central Los Angeles for graduate school. His act is an eclectic mix of his experience as an immigrant in the US and stories of dealing with his exposure to cultrure shock. He recently finished up a 20-show tour throughout India.
Koletkar, who grew up in a Jewish household in Mumbai, India, generally develops his performances around his politically, socially, and religiously satirical comedy style told from the perspective of a first-generation immigrant.
