Volunteers Needed at the Alameda County Food Bank!

We Need Your Hands to Meet Demand!

Not Getting Enough Sleep? What’s Your Excuse?

Last year, 7,500 volunteers dedicated more than 57,000 total hours to the Food Bank – that’s the equivalent of 29 full-time employees! Volunteers are vital part of the Food Bank's efforts to help the 1 in 6 Alameda County residents we serve – including children, senior and entire families. We're looking for anyone who can organize a group of 5 or more people for morning or afternoon. Our warehouse and office are abuzz with hunger-relief activity, and your help is needed more than ever. Certainly if anyone has plans on organizing a group during the winter months, it would help us out greatly if they can bump their volunteer day up to this summer!

    When: 8:30 - 11:30 AM & 12:30 - 3:30 PM

    Where: Alameda County Food Bank
