Carrie Prejean Marries NFL Quarterback

Carrie Prejean’s return to the spotlight didn’t draw the ire that came with her famous remarks about gay marriage, but she still managed to be the center of attention.

The former Miss California, 23, married her boyfriend, NFL quarterback Kyle Boller, 29, in a San Diego ceremony Friday night, E! Online reported. Both the bride and the groom exchanged vows at Capella Church in the Grand Del Mar Hotel. Family and friends attended the ceremony.

Prejean was described in the story as "wearing a gorgeous one-shoulder mermaid-style gown while Boller, who plays for the Oakland Raiders, and his fellow groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos." The two were engaged this past February.

"It was beautiful," an eyewitness told E! News. "They had cocktails on the lawn right after. Everyone seemed really happy."

The beauty pageant contestant is best known for her comments about gay marriage, which she opposes, at the Miss USA competition in 2009.
