J-Lo: “World's Most Beautiful Woman”

The judge has been judged, and the results are pretty favorable.

People magazine has revealed its annual "Most Beautiful" issue, and "American Idol" star Jennifer Lopez is on the cover next to the headline "World's Most Beautiful Woman."

In the accompanying interview, the diva admits that she's most comfortable when the make-up is off and the hair is allowed to flow freely.

"That's when I'm my happiest," says Lopez. "Just being able to touch my face and rub my eyes and put my fingers in my hair and not having to worry about messing it up. It's so much better."

Although the mother of 3 year-old twins with husband Marc Anthony admits that being on TV - especially in the age of HD - requires a strict regimen of diet and exercise.

"The thing is, it's part of my job," says the 41 year-old, who participated in a triathlon just six months after the birth of her children. "I don't want anybody thinking it's easy. It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend!"

Luckily, Lopez gets plenty of help at home from daughter Emme, who seems to be a budding fashionista.

"She is very girly-girl, just like me since I was very little. She loves for me to paint her nails," Lopez says. "She lays out her clothes on the floor like I do with my stylist and she's like, 'This matches very good!' "

People's "Most Beautiful" issue is on stands Friday.
