Jay-Z Sued Over Unpaid Private Jet Bill

Add one more problem to Jay-Z’s list of 99.

The “Money Ain’t a Thang” rap mogul has reportedly landed a lawsuit over unpaid bills for his private flights around the world.

Michael Cohen, owner of luxury travel company Air Platinum Club, told E! News that Jay-Z failed to pay for 18 of an estimated 55 hours logged with the company last year, as well as catering and other charges.

Jay-Z is on the hook for $137,485 in total and is being sued in a Miami court for $100,000 more in damages, according to court documents.

So, how much does it cost a rap icon to rent his own jet? According to the complaint, Jay-Z was charged a discounted $4,500 an hour, down from the usual $6,000 an hour.

A rep for the “99 Problems” MC did not respond to E!’s request for comment.
