A-Rod may be looking to play the field.

Rumors are swirling that the slugger and girlfriend Kate Hudson have split after he was reportedly spotted cozying up to a bevy of beautiful women in Miami this weekend.

A number of gossip websites -- from Hollywoodlife.com to OK! magazine -- reported that the pair is no longer together. Later, Usmagazine.com said it confirmed the break up.

"They've definitely broken up," an insider told the New York Post. "There's been some drama before about his roving eye. But this isn't the first time they've spit up and got back together."

Several of the reports cited anonymous sources who said they spotted the Yankee slugger partying with women in South Beach this past weekend.

He was "acting like a single man" and was flirting with a few ladies at the W hotel in South Beach before he began focusing his attention on one blonde, according to the Post.

"A-Rod didn't eat a thing because he was focused on this cute blonde -- who looked a bit like Kate. He literally didn't take his eyes off her," a snitch dished to the Post.

The Yankees star was first spotted flirting with the mystery blonde at the Armani Exchange dinner on Saturday and then later at the Delano Hotel and at late-night hotspot LIV, according to the New York Daily News.

Reps for the couple declined comment.

Hudson, 30, was in New York City to promote her latest movie and skirted questions about her relationship with A-Rod, 34, last Thursday on the "Late Show" with David Letterman.

"You're a big Yankees fan, and you're  friends with Alex Rodriguez," Letterman said.

"Yeah," she said, laughing. "He's a friend of mine. Nice guy."

The pair started dating in May and Hudson was often spotted cheering him on in the stands.

"Alex has a wandering eye, and Kate is a hopeless romantic. It's not exactly the perfect match," an insider told the News.
