‘Top Chef's' Padma Lakshmi To Baby Daddy: Please Pack Your Knives & Go

"Top Chef" host Padma Lakshmi might have welcomed a new bundle of joy last month when she gave birth to daughter Krishna, but the reality show beauty is reportedly feeling very little affection towards the baby's father.

According to a People source, Krishna's father, Adam Dell – brother to Dell computer founder Michael Dell – has been attempting to "get back into [Padma's] life."

"Her relationship with Dell was nothing more than an on-again, off-again fling. She moved on months ago," the source claimed. "The only role he will have in her life going forward is as the biological father of her child. She wants nothing more to do with him."

Following the birth of her baby, Padma told the mag, "I have a newborn… I just want some peace and privacy." She remained mum on the father's identity during her pregnancy.

According to the mag, Dell has hired a publicist, which the source called "a disgrace."

However, a source close to the 40-year-old father claimed that he is only "seeking more liberal visitation rights with his child."

"Adam … signed an agreement spelling out visitation and should live by it," Padma's friend said. "Padma is."
