And while there aren't any details about the plot just yet, we do know that Chris Terrio wrote the movie from a screenplay by David S. Goyer.

Just last week, Snyder shared the first photo of Affleck in full Caped Crusader, writing, "I shot this with my @Leica_Camera M Monochrom. #Batman #Batmobile #Gotham."

He also posted a photograph hinting what the latest version of the Batmobile will look like.

"Could be time to pull the tarp...Tomorrow?" Snyder wrote, along with a shot of the ride partly covered by a tarp.

Affleck landed the famed superhero role back in August 2013 and has since been looking buffer than ever to get into the superhero's getup.

But it looks like we're going to have to wait a while before seeing the action on the big screens...

The movie is slated to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
