CBS Pulls Plug on Jeremy Piven Drama Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

CBS has pulled the plug on the Jeremy Piven vehicle "Wisdom of the Crowd" as the actor faces a barrage of sexual harassment allegations from a number of women.

It looks like the crowd has spoken.

CBS has pulled the plug on the Jeremy Piven drama "Wisdom of the Crowd" as the actor faces a barrage of sexual harassment allegations from a number of women. The drama will continue to run new episodes until the original 13-episode order is exhausted. Four new episodes remain and no new additional episodes will be filmed.

Without mentioning the scandal, Piven took to social media Monday thanking viewers for their support.

Actress and reality star Ariane Bellamar claimed in posts on her Twitter account in October that Piven had groped her on two occasions.

Bellamar alleged that one encounter took place in Piven's trailer on the "Entourage" set and the other occurred at the Playboy Mansion.

CBS said in a statement at the time that "we are aware of the media reports and are looking into the matter."

In addition to Bellamar, as many as three other women have stepped forward accusing Piven of inappropriate sexual behavior, according to Vanity Fair. Piven has denied any accusation of sexual harassment.

"I unequivocally deny the appalling allegations being peddled about me. It did not happen," Piven told NBC News. "It takes a great deal of courage for victims to come forward with their histories, and my hope is that the allegations about me that didn't happen, do not detract from stories that should be heard."
