‘Curly Sue' Sings: Alisan Porter Slays Her ‘The Voice' Blind Audition

Watch a sneak peek of the season 10 premiere

You're going to recognize the person auditioning in this first clip from "The Voice" season 10: Alisan Porter, a.k.a. the former child actress known for playing Curly Sue in the movie "Curly Sue" and for vomiting all over Steve Martin in the movie "Parenthood."

The now-34-year-old has taken a few years off from showbiz and started a family with her husband of nearly four years – but she's ready to get back in the spotlight, this time pursuing her true passion: singing. The Broadway vet auditioned for the landmark 10th season of "The Voice," and – spoiler alert – she's incredible. You can watch her full audition in the video above.

She's so great, in fact, that Porter gets a coveted four-chair turn for her rendition of the classic "Blue Bayou," and each of the coaches – Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera – has to give their best pitch to get her on their team.

Levine goes for flattery and sex appeal, while Aguilera lays the girl power on thick. They were both on "Star Search" as children, so that's a plus in her corner, but Shelton reminds the singer that he's the most fun.

Porter tells the judges that one of the most important influences in her life was becoming sober nearly eight years ago, allowing her to start a family and get to a place in life where she is now able to pursue the thing that she loves to do.

You'll have to wait to find out which coach she chooses when "The Voice" season 10 premieres on Monday, Feb. 29 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
