“Hot Tub Time Machine 2” Trailer Makes a Splash

Get excited, "Hot Tub Time Machine" fans: the new trailer for the sequel has splashed down.

Paramount has released the latest clip for the Steve Pink-directed comedy film, a follow-up to the 2010 cult classic which will see Craig Robinson (Nick), Rob Corddry (Lou), Chevy Chase (the Repairman) and Clark Duke (Jacob) reprise their original roles.

"Is it wrong for us to exploit our knowledge of the future for personal financial gain?" Corddry says in the opening the clip before he proudly announces that he's "the father of the Internet."

And while the "Hot Tub Time Machine" gang has successfully used their powers to become famous pop stars (Robinson reveals that he hit it big after recording "Call Me Maybe") as well as technology tycoons, their second spin in the magical tub quickly takes a turn for the worse.

Instead of going back in time in an attempt to prevent Lou from being shot, Robinson, Corddry and Duke are catapulted to 2025, only to discover that the future is entirely different than what they expected.

Of course, hilarity ensues as the trio teams up with Adam Yates Jr. (Adam Scott), the son of John Cusack's character from the first film. "I still like your music, even though you've fallen on hard times," Adam tells Robinson in the trailer.

They then set out on a mission to "find the point in time where things went wrong and fix it," but of course, a series of bumps in the road occur along the way.

"Hot Tub Time Machine 2" hits theaters on Feb. 20, 2015.
