‘Deeply Hurtful': Jada Pinkett Smith Blasts New Tupac Biopic

The actress went after the film’s inaccurate portrayal of her relationship with Shakur

The new Tupac Shakur biopic isn’t just getting attention for its release on the late rapper’s birthday.

Actress Jada Pinkett Smith took to Twitter Friday to criticize the new biopic “All Eyez on Me” centered around the rapper. The actress went after the film’s inaccurate portrayal of her relationship with Shakur, both in specific scenes and the overall images of the friendship.

Rapper 50 Cent also blasted the biopic on Instagram Friday, referring to it as "bulls—t" and "trash" in the caption of his post.

The biopic’s release comes on what would have been Shakur’s 46th birthday. The actress commended Kat Graham and Demetrius Shipp Jr., stars of the biopic, despite her criticism of the film. Pinkett Smith ended her series of tweets wishing the rapper a happy birthday.

"Happy birthday Pac, you are cradled in my heart for eternity. I love you," the actress wrote.
