Justin Timberlake becomes emotional as he gave thanks during the Memphis Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, in Memphis, Tenn.

Saturday night marked the 2015 Memphis Music Hall of Fame Induction where former 'N Sync member Justin Timberlake was honored by his peers for his contributions to the music industry.

Introduced by close friend Jimmy Fallon, Timberlake was praised for his contributions both on and off the big stage.

"When they first asked me to help induct Justin into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame, three things came to mind: How much? Where am I staying? And most importantly, how do I get out of this," the "Tonight Show" host joked during his introduction. "This is Justin Timberlake we're talking about, and who better to induct him than me, Mrs. Justin Timberlake."

He continued, "As his friend I could tell you that this is such a big honor for Justin and it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy. He's given us so much amazing music over the years. I'm talking 'Cry Me a River,' 'SexyBack,' 'Suit & Tie,' 'Mirrors,' 'D--- in a Box!' That's right, he was the first Justin whose d--- went viral. Sorry, Bieber."

Jokes aside, Timberlake truly was grateful to receive the award in front of 2,000 people at Tennessee City's Cannon Center.

"This is the f--king coolest thing that has ever happened to me," he shared in his nearly 20-minute speech. "My favorite part about this city is we don't apologize for who we are, and that's who this city has taught me to be."

He continued while trying not to choke up, "I wanna thank all the great artists in this hall. I'm truly honored to merely stand on the shoulders of all these legends I grew up listening to, and I grew up admiring, to say that I stand alongside them now."

Before performing a few songs for the audience, Timberlake had one more person to thank. Yes, he couldn't help but gush about his "rock" and wife Jessica Biel.

"Baby, I love you more than I could put into words and more than any song I could ever write," he shared before describing Biel as "beautiful, loving and incredibly understanding."
