Even casual fans of "The Walking Dead" know that Norman Reeedus is pretty handy with a crossbow.
Nevertheless, Jimmy Fallon made it his mission to outduel Reedus with the weapon Friday night on "The Tonight Show."
The two faced off — literally — in a round of "Facebreakers." The objective: be the first to shoot out all the panes of glass featuring their opponent's face.
Fallon brought a showman's panache to his crossbow technique. Reedus, however, hit the targets efficiently, dooming the host to the surprise "reverse dunk tank."
The actor returns to the small screen Sunday night as zombie hunter Daryl Dixon in the hit AMC series.

As is Fallon's Friday tradition, he also caught up on some correspondence by penning a few thank-you notes. On the docket: Madonna's fashion choices for the Grammys, "Fifty Shades of Grey"-themed beer, and icicles ("the perfect murder weapon!").
English chanteuse Jessie J took the stage and belted out a powerhouse performance of "Masterpiece," backed by the Roots.
