Tina Fey: “Heck, Yes” to Bill Cosby Jokes at Golden Globes

In the eyes of comedy, nothing is ever "too soon."

Tina Fey is going to prove that Sunday when she and her co-host, Amy Poehler, crack jokes at Bill Cosby's expense. When asked if she and the "Parks and Recreation" star would broach the subject, she tells Access Hollywood in an interview that airs Friday, "Oh, heck yes!"

It remains to be seen how much riffing actually occurs surrounding the allegations made against the iconic actor. And though the "Cosby Show" star could take a lot of the heat, Fey, 44, says that other stars might experience fewer cracks this year because she and Poehler want everyone to enjoy themselves.

"[We] have always said that the idea [is] that we don't want anyone attending to be scared to be there because of us," she said. It's a party and it's — in the grand scheme of the world — it couldn't be less important and I think that's what makes it fun."

The "30 Rock" star also dishes some inside scoop into her and Poehler's writing process when it comes time to hosting—this will be their third year in a row—and tells Access Hollywood that they start writing only days before the event.

"One thing I will say about us is that we don't work hard," she jokes. "Always know that about us. We just wing it."

Unfortunately for fans and viewers everywhere, this will be the duo's last hurrah as hosts for the annual award show, according to Poehler.

"It's the law of diminishing returns, which is why this is our last time," Poehler said during an appearance on "Today." "Unless you want to be a perennial host, there's nowhere to go but down!"

NEWS: Tina Fey says she is definitely done with the Golden Globes after this year

After kissing Bono, throwing shade at some of their best friends and even getting into character, we don't think they could ever be bad hosts. But they've already poked fun at themselves in their promos.

Regardless, with these two headlining the show for one final time, we know we're in for a great night.

The 72nd Annual Golden Globes air Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
