A real-life superhero flew by a Virginia children’s hospital to surprise little ones and bring smiles to their faces.
"Wonder Woman" actress Gal Gadot met with patients, parents and staff at Inova Children’s Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, on Friday in full costume.
She posed for photos with patients and staffers, and those started popping up on social media over the weekend.
“You are a true Wonder Woman. The kids loved it...and so did the staff,” Dr. Lucas Collazo, a cardiac surgeon at the hospital, tweeted.
“May we all be inspired by Wonder Woman’s message of love and fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves,” film critic Lauren Bradshaw tweeted.
Film crews have been shooting the Wonder Woman sequel “Wonder Woman 1984” in the D.C. area for weeks. Some downtown D.C. streets near McPherson Square were shut down for filming over the weekend.
