Nicole Richie In As Guest Judge On ‘Project Runway'

Just four months removed from giving birth to her second child, Nicole Richie is ready to hit the "Runway."

Nicole will serve as the first celebrity guest judge of the upcoming season of Lifetime's "Project Runway," the cable channel confirmed to Access Hollywood.

The starlet will join host Heidi Klum, style guru Tim Gunn and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia for the season premiere on January 14.

Nicole follows in the high heels of previous celebrity guest judges including Christina Aguilera, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, Rebecca Romijn and Eva Longoria Parker.

The "Runway" gig is just the latest TV news for Nicole.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the former reality star is gearing up to star in a new sitcom for ABC, which "revolves around a young, modern and professional woman who must balance her business and family relationships."

"I am so excited to announce that I am officially working on a television project," Nicole wrote on her official Web site in early December. "I am creating a half hour scripted comedy for ABC in which I will be starring in, as well as producing."
