Taylor Swift's New Greeting Card Line

The four-time Grammy winner expands her empire

Next time someone tries to steal your Grammy moment, you could receive condolences from Taylor Swift herself.

The singer teamed up with American Greetings to design and write a line of greeting cards that "not only reflect and demonstrate her personality, but bring her stories and words to life," according to American Greetings.

Twelve new cards are now available in the United States and Canada, under a display that reads "Hi, I'm Taylor and these are my cards." The girly cards are decorated with glitter and butterflies, and offer a less traditional style of salutation. In one card, Swift, the top-selling artist of both 2008 and 2009, writes, "Congratulations, Bday Girl!/You've officially been AWESOME for ____ years!"

"My idea of a great song is a song that says how I feel better than I could. I feel the same way about greeting cards," the four-time Grammy winner told US magazine.

So far, only one of her cards features her lyrics. "In this moment now, capture it, remember it, 'cause I don't know how it gets better than this," is printed in curly font over a colorful photograph of a swing carousel adorned with doodles.

“Working beside Taylor in our own creative environment and watching her get excited about concepts, write verse and come up with new ideas on the spot energized the entire team,” said Kelly Ricker, executive director of product development at American Greetings. “Taylor’s songs touch millions of people and we believe her cards will have the same emotional appeal to consumers of all ages. All of us are so proud of the first set of cards in the collection, and we are very excited for everyone to experience them.”

The world's largest publicly-traded greeting card company said gift packaging, stationery, online photo personalization products and online greetings are in the works. Photos have yet to be leaked, but we can probably expect some adorable animals surrounded by glitter.
