TV is about to get a whole lot funnier!

Actor Robin Williams is staging his return to TV, choosing a comedy vehicle called "The Crazy Ones," which he is developing with writer David E. Kelley, sources confirm to E! News. CBS is said to be interested in the project centering on Williams as an ad executive.

Williams' career started on TV with his Emmy Award-winning work as the alien Mork in Mork &Mindy over 30 years ago.

Another TV veteran Michael J. Fox is returning to TV as well

The new single-camera comedy project would find Williams as a father working with his daughter, and would follow the duo as they both begin to question their lives, reports TVGuide.com.

Williams isn't the only big-name star heading back to the small screen. NBC recently ordered 22 episodes of a comedy starring Michael J. Fox for fall 2013.

The Oscar-winning actor (Good Will Hunting) has made several guest appearances, including memorable spots on "Louie" and "Law &Order: SVU," with the latter scoring him am Emmy nod. He recently finished filming "The Butler," in which he plays President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
