Sarah Palin Surprises Audience, Shatner On ‘Tonight Show'

William Shatner just got a taste of his own medicine.

The "Boston Legal" star, who has appeared recently on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" to give humorous dramatic readings of the words of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, took to the show once more on Friday night to read excerpts from Sarah's new memoir, "Going Rogue: An American Life."

But Conan had a surprise up his sleeve – Sarah herself — who shocked the crowd when she took the stage to read excerpts from William's own autobiography.

The former governor and vice presidential candidate has been on a book tour to promote her non-fiction debut, which sold a whopping 300,000 copies in its first day of release.
