It's "almost heaven," but not in West Virginia.
The Aspen, Colorado, estate built by singer-songwriter John Denver has been put on the market for $11 million.
The 7,735-square-foot home constructed in 1972, and immortalized in his hit song "Starwood in Aspen," was put up for sale this week following a major renovation. Denver called the retreat his "sweet Rocky Mountain paradise."
The house, situated in a gated community, features five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half-baths, as well as office space, a workout room, three wet bars, a swimming pool and other features.
According to Aspen Global Luxury, the real estate agency representing the listing, the current homeowners — who purchased the estate in 2016 — have renovated the home while preserving its "legacy and uniqueness."

Denver died in October 1997 when the single-seat, Long-EZ airplane he was piloting crashed off the California coast. He was 53.
