The Real World is in Nob Hill. Or Polk Gulch.
For the 2.0 version of the legendary MTV reality show's San Francisco edition -- who could forget the liks of Puck, almost two decades ago -- the show's producers picked not the Mission, but the Polk Gulch area to showcase real life in a decked out San Francisco home, according to SFist.
The former Avalon Ballroom at 1244 Sutter Street has been renovated from offices into the production studio-slash-living quarters necessary to house a bunch of young people getting real for the 29th -- and, as has been said repeatedly, probably final time -- according to reports.
Check out the final results. The requisite map of San Francisco, pool table, and plenty of hip... stuff... it's all there!
