About This Series

We Investigate Sex Abuse Allegations at Presentation High School

A former Presentation High School student came forward last year as part of the #MeToo movement accusing a Spanish teacher of groping her and sexually assaulting a classmate nearly three decades ago. Since then, NBC Bay Area has investigated claims from more than a dozen other former students who say administrators failed to report to authorities incidents of sexual assault, harassment, and other inappropriate behavior by teachers or staff. Police are now investigating whether school officials violated mandated reporting laws.
