STANZAS AND SLICES: Indulge the artist and the glutton in you at the same time. Escape from New York Pizza hosts Poetry & PIzza the first Friday of every month. Hear the work of Kathleen de Azevedo, Kathleen McClung, and Alyssa O'Brien in this benefit for WOW! Women on Writing. while you gorge on cheap and delicious all-you-can-eat pizza. [funcheapSF]

NO PANTS: Whether you've got Restless Legs Syndrome or just a strong case of wacky group exhibitionism, this Sunday's 9th Annual "No Pants!" BART ride should be a liberating, repulsing and/or highly entertaining event. Check the schedule to find out when and where you need to bare your gams.

MOTTO MOCHI: Sweet, sticky, bright, and delicious, mochi is a japanese dessert made of bean paste and meant to be savored. Come to the Asian Art Museum to pound your own mochi at Mochitsuki, the now rare New Year celebration. The fun starts this Saturday at noon.

CAMUS AND YOU: This Saturday marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Nobel Prize winning author, Albert Camus. Between The Stranger, The Plague, and The Rebel, Camus's short titles and non-existentialist existentialism have certainly earned him his international acclaim. At Saturday's event, "Remembering Albert Camus", enjoy short readings in French and English at Edinburgh Castle. [SFWeekly]
