The time has come, fashion fans. The much buzzed about "Bill Cunningham New York" documentary is coming to the Bay Area for one week only starting Friday, April 8.
The film, which chronicles the life of the New York Times' famed 82-year-old shutterbug and his pioneering work in street style photography, will be shown at the Landmark Theater in San Francisco and Landmark's Shuttuck Theater in Berkeley. The film's director Richard Press and photography critic Philip Gefter will be hosting Q&A's.
The touch-down of this exciting film isn't the only fashion-tinged cultural event to hit the city this Spring. If you haven't done so yet, there's still time to check out the Balenciaga exhibit at de Young.
