Construction Update: Rebar Rises at One Hawthorne

Things are moving forward slowly at One Hawthorne — the 24-story residential tower designed by EHDD Architecture. It's hard to get an idea of exactly what's going on -- but we've got rebar and that's always a good sign. An even better sign? The fact the construction hasn't stopped completely... yet. Speaking of signs, we're still hoping that the vintage brick advert is integrated into the final design—a lobby graphic maybe?—but we're not holding our breath. Units were originally expected to start at around $500,000 for a junior one bedroom -- but by the time this thing finishes, they might be lucky to get that for the top floor penthouse.
