Personal feelings over Critical Mass aside, there is something undeniably surreal about the fabled Broadway Tunnel takeovers. As documented in the video above, the commuter staple was again briefly transformed into a biker's paradise during Friday night's edition of the longstanding ride, as hundreds of bundled up riders festively took over the Chinatown to Russian Hill pass in both directions. While it no doubt left gawking tourist confused and delayed Black Friday motorist a bit perturbed, we can't help but point out the obvious – even on an unusually frigid evening, this looks pretty damn fun.
