Del The Funky Homosapien has kicked off the new year with a gift to his multi-generational international fans.
The Oakland rapper and producer from the Hieroglyphics crew has released a free album, Iller Than Most, via Soundcloud. On it, he assumes the alias of Zartan Drednaught Cobra.
The album is "futuristic and fun — but still on some hip-hop sh*t," writes the man born Teren Delvon Jones.
The next scheduled show for the Hieroglyphics is on January 25 at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz.
