Development Watch: Trinity Place Rising

Having muscled past six years of duking it out for development rights, Trinity Properties appears to be moving along quite swimmingly nowadays at 1188 Mission Street, Phase I of Arquitectonica-designed Trinity Place. The 440-unit building, which broke ground back in May, will have 360 replacement studios for tenants of Trinity Plaza, the Market Street apartment complex that's going to bite the dust in favor of Phase II, a massive mixed-use center. The rest of Phase I will be 80 one-bedroom units: 68 at market rate and 12 below-market. Next-door neighbor Soma Grand shouldn't sweat the competition -- no concierge service at Trinity Place just yet.
