Music fans flock to Treasure Island each fall for the annual Treasure Island Music Festival, but there's an opportunity to party on T.I. much sooner that's coming up next week.
Electric Winter Wonderland on Jan. 18 plans an ambitious schedule of more than 30 DJs spinning in three separate dance areas. A wide spectrum of electronic dance music is planned for each separate sound system, including specialist styles popular in the Bay Area such as electro, dubstep, techno, and even moombahton. Featured DJs include popular Los Angeles jock Thee-O, Rudebrat from Santa Cruz, and San Francisco's Smash & Grab.
If these DJs and genres are unfamiliar, know this: Expect a high-energy event where a majority of the crowd will take advantage of a total of seven hours of dancing to lively, bass-centric music. Participants can also take advantage of the rare opportunity to gaze at San Francisco from a beautiful vantage point.
