Fed Building Finally Open to Public

San Francisco's Federal Building is now open to the public. Only a year and half after staff moved in, Big Brother has conquered his paranoia and finally sees fit to let architectural tourists wander through the greener-than-thou building, designed by one-time "bad-boy" of architecture Tom Mayne. Highlights include a gallery of work by Ed Ruscha and the 13th floor "skygarden" (the giant hole in the building) that offers a unique aerial view of SoMa crackheads. Of course, all this is only accessible after passing through airport-level security, so pack accordingly.
