Popular Napa Grill Down After Weekend Blaze

Wine Country: Early Saturday morning, a fire broke out at one of the most recognizable restaurants along the St. Helena Highway.

After firefighters put out the blaze at around 4 a.m., Mustard's Grill was shuttered the rest of the weekend, with reservations and prospective diners being redirected to Cindy Pawlcyn's other two restaurants, Go Fish and Cindy’s Backstreet Kitchen. Reports say that the fire—which was limited to the kitchen area—caused up to $100,000 in damages, but despite those staggering estimates, the early word from (an optimistic?) Mustard's Grill is that they hope to be reopen by next week.

On a lighter note, Cindy Pawlcyn has been rumored to be one of the cheftestants on the forthcoming inaugural season of Top Chef Masters.
