Gail Simmons, of Top Chef: Just Desserts and Food & Wine fame, appeared on the Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda earlier today and shared a few Thanksgiving cooking tips. Rather than demonstrating elaborate culinary methods, Simmons pulled a Sandra Lee and focused on adding a few homemade ingredients (fresh grated ginger, fried sage leaves) to store-bought items.
