Seth Bogart, the deliciously campy frontman of Hunx & His Punx, has launched a sketch comedy and variety web series called Hollywood Nailz.
For the uninitiated, Hollywood Nailz is a great introduction to the wit of Hunx & His Punx, the San Francisco retro-rockers behind such local anthems as "Great Kisser" and "Teardrops on My Telephone." The new series is a cherry on top for the already-converted. The first episode includes parodies of party chat lines, TV court dramas, and motherhood.
Hunx and His Punx will ring in the new year with an Australian tour. Bogart, a former hair salon owner, also released a solo album called Hairdresser Blues in 2012.
