What's a girl to do with not one, not two, but three impressive units in the same West Village building? Combine them, of course. A mere two weeks ago Jennifer Aniston scooped up two apartments at 229 West 12th Street in New York.
A mere two weeks ago Jennifer Aniston scooped up two apartments at 229 West 12th Street. Now, the
NY Daily News reveals that Jennifer Aniston is in talks to buy a third unit in this same pre-war building, which the A-lister plans to combine into one superbly awesome spread. A girl's gotta have space for her shoes! View the listing.
Listed at $1.995 million, this one bedroom apartment is surely nothing to scoff at, but for a superstar like Aniston, it seems a wee bit small. However, there's nothing understated about combining three units, one of which is a $5.9 million penthouse.
This one bedroom, one bath apartment features close to 10-foot-tall ceilings and a wood burning fireplace.
The stunning city views may be the only feature that remains unchanged after Aniston revamps the place.
The current owner allegedly increased the asking price of this unit once it was reported that the former
Friends actress was moving into the building.
Once the actress combines all three units, she will be living in luxury in over 3,000 square feet of interior living space.
The two units that Aniston previously purchased are on the 17th and 18th floors, respectively. The seller of the 18th floor penthouse is celeb hairstylist Sally Hershberger who originally bought the pad in 2001 for $1.85 million.

The penthouse's eat-in kitchen features granite and stone countertops.
The 18th floor penthouse and the 17th floor unit each include one bedroom.
The penthouse was listed for $5.9 million and the lower level condo was listed for a more affordable $1.8 million.
The very private master suite boasts incredible skyline views.
Arguably the most impressive attribute of this penthouse is the incredible wrap-around terrace.
The unit boasts spectacular panoramic north, south, east and west views of the New York City skyline from the harbor to the Empire State Building.
We can only imagine what the 3,000 square foot duplex will look like after Jen combines the three apartments.
