Locals Pay Tribute to Bob Dylan

Concert on Nov. 20 at Great American Music Hall

The music of Bob Dylan, which has had a far-reaching influence on music across the world, will soon be celebrated in San Francisco.

A diverse collection of artists including locals Boots Riley, Nicki and Tim Bluhm, and Kelley Stoltz will celebrate the man who's been called the Voice of Protest and the Voice of a Generation with a live show called Dylan Fest at Great American Music Hall on November 20.

Other artists scheduled to appear include The Cabin Down Below Band with Doyle Bramhall II, Elvis Perkins, Eric Pulido (of Midlake), Craig Finn & Tad Kubler (of The Hold Steady), Erika Wennerstrom (of Heartless Bastards), Ruby Amanfu, Chuck Prophet, Rayland Baxter, The Whigs, Danny Clinch, Lukas Nelson (son of Willie), Josh Lattanzi (of The Candles), Chase Cohl, and Neal Casal. There will also be unannounced surprise guests.

Show time is at 8 PM and tickets are $25. Proceeds benefit Sweet Relief, a nonprofit offering assistance to ailing musicians.
