San Jose Police have identified the body of a 31 year old woman as Dieu "Tina" Nguyen.
People living near the 2000 block of Southwest Expressway heard shots fired around 10:30 p.m. on Monday night.
At first police reported finding Nguyen near a car, but today they say she was found sitting in the driver's side of a car parked on the side of the road.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car was parked near homes on Southwest Expressway.
Police are still investigating and don't have a suspect yet. But they do not believe the shooting was a random act or gang-related.
