Post-Punks Grass Widow at Verdi Club

Milo Minute: Celebrate the release of all-female post-punk trio Grass Widow's latest 7" offering tonight with a $6 party at the Mission's woefully underutilized Verdi Club. The night doubles as the official launch of the band's new HLR imprint, which the Kill Rock Star-signed outfit plans to release a series of short run vinyl-exclusive collaborative pieces on in the coming months. Doors at 8 p.m.

Disconnected: Relive your pop-punk glory days tonight as the Regency Ballroom invites Warped Tour mainstays Face To Face in for a sure to be nostalgia-ridden set. Likeminded SoCal veterans Strung Out round out the bill; tickets are $22 and doors at 8 p.m.

Una Chica Mas: The Independent brings in campy child star turned soulful funkstress Nikka Costa in this evening for a mixed set of tunes from her 30 year strong discography. Fingers crossed for a bi-lingual mashup of "Renegade!" Tickets are $18 and show is at 8 p.m.

Going out can be a gamble, so why leave it up to chance? Stack the deck every afternoon by peeping Play's Dance Card.
