Sure, we called it, but this was a pretty easy one: protests of Proposition 8 popped up all over the state this weekend. The march down Market Street from the Civic Center to the Castro and Dolores Park garnered a crowd of 1,000 or so, while 400 protesters outside Oakland's Mormon Temple forced a temporary closure of Highway 13. Elsewhere: about 2,500 gathered on the Capitol in Sacramento yesterday for a three-hour rally, and 10,000 protested in San Diego. It's not over, folks.
