Traffic is lighter, the ice rink is out at the Embarcadero and the reindeers are back at the San Francisco Zoo. It's officially the holiday season.
Belle, Holly, Peppermint and Velvet all officially landed at the zoo over the weekend to ring in the season. The San Francisco Zoo Holiday Romp will feature a special peak at Santa's little helpers through New Year's Day.
The animals will ring in the holiday cheer all season long and on the weekends they will be part of a special exhibit called "Winter Goes Wild," where the animals will be fed special holiday-themed treats.
