"The only way in is to listen and win!" So proclaims the website for radio station WiLD 94.9 FM for its supposedly sold out Comedy Jam featuring Chris Tucker, Dave Chappelle and Katt Williams on August 13 at Shoreline Ampitheatre.
Only it's not quite true; a weekend visit to Shoreline confirmed that there are still seats in the VIP lower reserved section as well as VIP boxes that are still currently available for purchase in-person at the box office. The tickets, starting at $120, aren't exactly cheap, but Williams has recently returned to standup after a declared retirement, and to see him on a bill with Chappelle is like unexpectedly spotting two unicorns in one yard. If you want to avoid scalpers or questionable Craigslist exchanges and your luck winning radio station ticket giveaways isn't too good, this is a solid option to consider for what will be a memorably funny day.
