SF Hotel Says Keep the Towels

Hotel tries new gimmick during down economy

You no longer have to hide that towel under your arm when checking out of one San Francisco hotel.

After years of being admonished by clerks at hotels for stealing the towels, one San Francisco hotel is asking its guests to keep the fluffy souvenirs

Hotel Fusion, a boutique hotel near Union Square, is providing its guests with a plush 100 percent cotton bath towel embroidered with "I Didn't Steal my Towel from Hotel Fusion."

"Our guests not only get a great deal when they stay with us, they also get a warm reminder of how comfortable the Hotel Fusion is," said Lucio Bustillo, General Manager of Hotel Fusion. "We like giving a little something extra to our guests."

Hotel Fusion's 124 guest rooms were renovated in 2006. Rich wood accents and warm inviting colors complement the stylish fusion of old-world Asian and contemporary American styles. Select rooms feature flat screen televisions, DVD players, terry cloth robes, designer bedding, and mini bars. All guests enjoy free high-speed Internet access, complimentary continental breakfast, and free access to the cardio fitness center and business center.
