Speakeasy Pub Crawl

While we are admittedly starting to suffer from a bit of Groupon-clone fatigue, we can't help but be excited by the latest offering from frat-friendly newsletter turned dealmaker Thrillist: $25 for a boozy tour of some of the Mission's best craft beer hangs, locally-sourced brews and snacks included. Scheduled to go down July 31st, the five-hour mobile party will invite hop enthusiast to sample various Speakeasy-brewed concoctions -- think local standards Big Daddy I.P.A., Prohibition Ale and Untouchable Pale Double Daddy mixed with a one-off selection of rare seasonal releases -- at Elixir, 500 Club, Gestalt Haus, Rosamunde and more. And just to ensure the high ABV treats don't totally ruin your Sunday morning, each spot on the crawl will have complimentary eats for all official attendees. Major bonus points to anyone who pairs the official Thrillist's official beer tour with selections from Mission Mission's recent DIY-style Bloody Mary crawl...

Can't wait until the end of the month to get a taste for Speakeasy's ever-growing selection of beers? The Hunter's Point-based brewery opens their doors and taps to the public each and every Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. -- full details on the always memoriable excursion to the edge of the city at goodbeer.com.
