Stolen Car Chase Ends Badly For Both CHP and Suspects

1 suspect tazed, other flips CHP cruiser

A stolen car chase Monday did not go well for both the robbers and the California Highway Patrol.

One suspect ended up being tazzered while the other flipped a car that happened to be owned by the California Highway Patrol.

A CHP cruiser was stolen after a chase in Pleasanton, the CHP said.

The CHP said two people were pulled over Monday afternoon after a pursuit.

An officer used a taser gun on one of the suspects but the other, who was handcuffed, hopped into the patrol car and took off.

The suspect flipped the cruiser near the Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton.

Both suspects are in custody and the CHP said no one was hurt.
