What else is happening in the center of it all over the summer of '17? In two words: so much. Look for an Apexer mural at the corner of Haight and Masonic Streets (in partnership with the de Young's "The Summer of Love" Experience: Art, Fashion, and Rock & Roll") through Aug. 31, a California Historical Society Haight-focused photograph exhibition through Sept. 10, and a Summer of Love History Walk on June 3 with the Western Neighborhoods Project.

If your Summer of Love festivities have to be built around the Grateful Dead, we get it. Truck on, and head for one of several Grateful-good goings-on, like the Summer of Love History Walk on June 3, which will stroll by the Grateful Dead house or the Nourse Theater, where a caboodle of singers'll pay songful tribute to the Dead, and a host of other legendary acts, on July 22. The photo pictured will be a part of the California Historical Society exhibit, opening May 12.
