You may have seen Tell Tale Preserve Company's pastries, preserves, and confections at the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market, Coffee Bar, and Sightglass, but next Monday through Saturday, you'll get a unique opportunity to experience a sweets "trunk show." Potrero Hill's Big Daddy Antiques (17th Street at Wisconson) will host Tell Tale each of those days from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. with drip coffee and artfully arranged goods including their monthly "society bag" featuring whimicial bites like Vanilla and Douglas Fir Infused Confiture Au Lait, Roasted Pumpkin and Guanaja Chocolate Marshmallow, and Pain D’épices Laced Caramels. This is a good chance to taste test before Tell Tale opens its Maiden Lane shop in early 2011, and make sure to take advantage of their complimentary hot cider and the store's discounts on old wood stuff displaying the new food stuff.
