Thomas Keller Confirms London Pop-Up

After months of will-he-won't-he rumors and speculation, Thomas Keller confirms today that he will open a ten day pop-up version of his iconic restaurant The French Laundry this October at Harrods in London. This isn't some branding gimmick or licensing deal, though, as Bloomberg reports that Keller and 14 members of his Yountville staff to make the event possible. As we learned earlier this year at Bouchon Bakery, it's all in the details with Keller—"[F]ixtures, fittings and signature dinnerware" will be flown over from Napa to keep with the "design ethos of the original."

All you'll need to do to check it out (assuming you can score a reservation) is book a trip to London and lay down £250 (US$400) for the nine-course tasting menu. [Bloomberg]
