Sixteen-year-old blogger Tavi Gevinson has already mastered the worlds of writing, editing and modeling (and has even tried a little singing), but the wunderkind can soon add "actress" to her resume.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Gevinson will play Chloe—"an only child who never received much attention from her parents, forcing her to grow up faster than her peers”—alongside James Gandolfini, Catherine Keener and Toni Collette in director Nicole Holofcener's newest project .
As anyone who has read her site, Style Rookie, can avow, Gevinson—who launched the blog at age 11—knows a thing or two about growing up fast.
It's not unreasonable to think this could be the first of many film projects for the young talent, who has signed with Hollywood talent agency UTA (as did "Man Repeller" Leandra Medine just last week)—a firm that also represents Tom Cruise, Kanye West and Nicole Kidman.
We'd be worried about a normal 16-year-old cracking under the pressure, but as Gevinson has proved time and again, she can handle it.
