Vesta Flatbread, a purveyor of imaginative sandwiches and other fare that regularly appears at the Grand Lake Farmers Market in Oakland and the Alameda Antique Fair, is hitting the road with a new truck. The blue beauty, dubbed "Ceres" and equipped with its own hearth oven, will start roaming San Francisco and Alameda Counties beginning on August 25. Sandwich selections for the current season include grilled chicken with harissa, carrot hazelnut pate, and slow cooked citrus pork, all on homemade organic flatbread.
